Yogi Ferrell is a great story. A previous 10-day contract guy who made it permanently in the NBA, Ferrell was someone who was simply a pure scorer in college. At the NBA level, he’s shown he can still be that guy.

Last season, Ferrell gave the Dallas Mavericks a hefty amount of minutes for a backup. He even started on 21 occasions. Like Napier, Ferrell is also someone who could provide scoring off the bench. He’s not necessarily an elite defender by any means, but if the Bulls wanted scoring, Ferrell could suffice.

When Ferrell gets hot, he’s a valuable option in the rotation. He scored 20-plus points on several occasions last year, which the Bulls would gladly take. This offseason is all about building a youthful rotation for the future. Could Ferrell fit in?

Like Napier, Ferrell is restricted. For a player who was once working his tail off to make it into the NBA out of college, what would the Mavericks be willing to pay Ferrell? Like most of the guys on this list, that will be one of the bigger questions.
