Allen Robinson

Projections:

  • 67 receptions

  • 1,159 receiving yards

  • 8 receiving touchdowns

Some of you are already cheating and looking ahead before reading this. You might be thinking, “Allen Robinson won’t lead the team in receptions? That’s crazy!”

No, it’s not crazy. Robinson will definitely be a target monster, but I see him giving the Bears more big plays and touchdowns than anything. Unlike the next guy on this list, Robinson isn’t the ideal slot candidate, and Trubisky loves him some slot receiver.

Robinson, if healthy, should give the Bears a 1,000-yard receiver and a good amount of touchdowns. I like where he’s projected, but some might not. Once again, remember, this is going to be a very balanced attack.

Anthony Miller

Projections:

  • 70 receptions

  • 902 receiving yards

  • 5 receiving touchdowns

Did I mention Trubisky loves the slot receiver? If Kendall Wright can lead the Bears in receiving from that spot, imagine what a guy like Anthony Miller could do. Miller’s gritty style of play and knack for making the big-time catches should get him plenty of targets. While I see him leading the team in receptions, I’ve still got Robinson over on yardage.

Taylor Gabriel

Projections:

  • 34 receptions

  • 301 receiving yards

  • 2 receiving touchdowns

I know there will be people who hate this projection. But, when you take into consideration the amount of targets that Robinson, Miller and another newly-signed face will take up, there aren’t going to be a whole lot left to go around.

Taylor Gabriel should give the Bears a handful of incredible plays, but he’s not going to be a focal point.
