Trubisky is the leader at quarterback the Bears have always needed.

One of the team’s most respected veterans, Kyle Long, had this to say about his quarterback, via ESPN:

"“I can’t put words to it. What Mitch Trubisky was born with was something that not a lot of people were born with. I can’t explain it. When you’re around him, you feel it and it’s real. Quiet confidence and a sense of calm and comfortability with the situation, any situation he’s put in.”"

Say what you want to about Cutler, but I don’t ever recall this kind of praise coming out about him as a rookie — let alone ever.

Enough about Cutler. I’m gonna get all of the Cutler-heads coming after me pretty soon.

Over the course of last season and even this offseason, Trubisky’s teammates have spoken highly of their quarterback across many media channels. It’s no wonder the Bears are starting to become somewhat of a media darling — they’ve put together quite a squad behind their leader under center.

You put all of Trubisky’s intangibles together and combine them with his ability to lead a group of men on the football field, and you have a potential top-10 quarterback in 2018. I don’t see it being too farfetched to expect something along the lines of 4,000 passing yards and 30 total touchdowns out of Trubisky this season.
