Chicago Bears: Get hyped watching Anthony Miller’s top plays
By Ryan Heckman
Sticky hands
Anthony Miller gave the college football world one of the best catches they have seen in years, and maybe the best play of the entire 2017 season.
It was a high-scoring affair against South Florida. The fourth quarter was rapidly approaching; just a minute away. His team, down by four, is looking to march down the field and take the lead in one of the more exciting games all last season.
On third down with four yards to go, Miller skies to reach a poorly thrown ball and get his team a new set of downs. You want to talk about hands? Miller can compete with the best of them.
True, he’s been known to drop an easy one here and there, but that’s a mental breakdown that can be fixed with the right coaching and solid practice time. We know the talent is there. Miller can flat-out catch the football. For being so small, his catch radius is ridiculous.
Speaking of catch radius…
Once again, Miller has to give maximum effort — shoutout to the Deadpool fans — here as he dives for a catch only he would have any shot making. Also on this play, you can tell that his speed is not as elite as that of maybe a Tyreek Hill or even Tarik Cohen, but it’s what he possesses elsewhere that makes up for it.

The corner did a fine job for about 75 percent of the route sticking with Miller, until the very last second when he separates just enough, giving him the room to lay out and make the grab.
