The Chicago Bears have so far drawn rave reviews for their first three picks of the 2018 NFL Draft. What positions should they focus on for Rounds 4-7?

Somehow, this year feels as if Chicago Bears fans were closer to the pulse of this team’s draft philosophy than they have been in a long time. For that reason, many are overflowing with optimism about Ryan Pace’s picks on the first two days of the 2018 NFL Draft.

After giving Vic Fangio’s defense a potential cornerstone star in inside linebacker Roquan Smith, the Bears gave young quarterback Mitch Trubisky a hand with two intriguing second-round picks.

First, they grabbed Iowa offensive lineman James Daniels, an athletic interior player that will protect Trubisky and help beat down resistance in the run game, at No. 39.

Then, Pace made a huge trade-up back into the second round to nab Memphis receiver Anthony Miller with the 51st pick. If all holds, Miller will fill the void that Cameron Meredith left behind and then some.

The message appears to have been sent: the Chicago Bears are coming into 2018 ready to compete. And each of these picks should start immediately for the Bears when the season rolls around.

As well as things have gone thus far, though, they still have a few critical positions to address in the 2018 NFL Draft. Here’s where the Chicago Bears are likely to focus their attention in Round 4 and beyond this afternoon.
