5 Chicago athletes to go on Spring Break vacation with
By Ryan Heckman
Anthony Rizzo, Chicago Cubs
Has there ever been a time in the life of Anthony Rizzo where he wasn’t smiling, laughing or enjoying himself? I mean, come on, the guy has to have had some bad days at one point or another, right?
Alright, alright — I know that’s an exaggeration, but my goodness, the guy is always happy!
Rizzo makes it on my wolf pack list simply because he knows a thing or two — if you didn’t catch that movie reference, I feel bad for you.
He knows a thing or two about staying positive and uplifting in any circumstance. I mean, the guy has battled cancer and won, so how bad could things really get? Put yourself in, God forbid, a situation like we’ve seen in the movie referenced above.
Okay, if you still don’t know which movie I’m alluding to, here’s another clue: Bradly Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms and Ken Jeong.
I cannot help you much more than I just did.
Anyway, what happens on a vacation when things go wrong? Everybody needs that one guy who will calm the group down and keep everyone positive. How does Rizzo not fit that mold more perfectly than anyone else?
I’d want Rizzo on my vacation because he seems like he’d always be down for a good time. That’s who everybody likes to be around. But, just in case we woke up with face tattoos, missing teeth and a tiger in our hotel, I know my guy Rizzo would be right there to let us know things will be just fine.
