In many cities around the country, Spring Break is on. Which Chicago athletes would you love to vacation with?

I remember back when I was in elementary school, middle school and high school and one of the absolute best times of the year was around late March and early April when Spring Break came into full effect. There was no better feeling that hearing that last bell ring on a Friday, knowing you wouldn’t see that place for a solid week!

With lots of kids now experiencing the freedom of Spring Break, some are taking extended trips and others are just laying low. I’ve had my fair share of both kinds of breaks, but by far my favorite out of the two is of course traveling to somewhere warm for the week.

During the offseason, for a professional athlete, it can at times seem like an extended vacation. While that might be what we see, most of them are still waking up early and putting in the work to make themselves better for when the season comes back around.

But, we do see them at times enjoying themselves, and for good reason — they deserve it. After putting in tons and tons of work, dedicating themselves to the sport they love so that fans have a reason to watch them play, it’s time for a little rest and relaxation.

This got me thinking: Which Chicago athlete would you most love to go on a Spring Break vacation with? I suppose that depends on what kind of personality you possess and your idea of a great vacation, but I chose five athletes with some seemingly pretty outgoing and funny personalities who would all be a blast to hang out with on a week-long trip.
