The offseason is a fun and exciting time for the Chicago Bears. Players have made it even more enjoyable thanks to Twitter.

For the last couple of years, Chicago Bears fans have been more entertained by players on Twitter than they have watching the team on the field at times — a sad but harsh reality. But, this year has been much different.

Ryan Pace is on a roll and the team is on the ride of their lives as they have seen a few big-time free agents choose the Windy City as their next home. Starting with Allen Robinson, Pace has hit home runs bringing in new talent and now the attention turns primarily to the draft.

The players have enjoyed themselves just as the fans have, especially on social media. It is always fun as a fan to be able to interact with one of your favorite athletes and have them respond to you in places like Twitter and Instagram. In this instance, we will be diving a little deeper into the activity on the former.

We all know the usual suspects when it comes to having their Twitter game on point. Obviously, the Bears’ king of Twitter is guard Kyle Long. I don’t see anybody de-throning him anytime soon, and if you haven’t yet followed the guy, go do it!

I have had the privilege of having some of these guys interact with me, and I have seen friends and fellow fans I know receive the same experience. It is a great feeling knowing you have the ability to get the attention of people in their position and even get a reply or two. There are lots of class acts on this team who try their best to interact with the fans, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

For this particular piece, though, we are going to look at some of the top tweets by current Bears players over the course of the last couple of months. Some will make you laugh. Others will get you amped for the upcoming season.

Enjoy.
