Chicago Bears: Seven-round post-free agency mock draft
What direction will general manager Ryan Pace and the Chicago Bears go in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft and beyond?
With the main heavy lifting of free agency out of the way for the Chicago Bears, the shift in focus moves towards the 2018 NFL draft.
General manager Ryan Pace has done a solid job this offseason in building around Mitchell Trubisky and gave new head coach Matt Nagy the essentials to get his offense off the ground running in year one.
Allen Robinson is that No. 1 wide receiver that the team has missed since Brandon Marshall‘s departure a few years ago. Taylor Gabriel is a slot weapon that fans always envision this offense having.
Trey Burton is that move tight end that should pick up where Zach Miller left off.
With them in the fold, this Chicago Bears offense should be one of the more most improved units on the team.
Cornerback was another pressing need before free agency until Pace locked up his two top corners Kyle Fuller and Prince Amukamara. At least for now, that immediate need has been taken care of, though they could still add a few in the draft.
Even after all of that, the Bears still have some glaring needs that need to be addressed. Here’s a post-free agency mock draft to try and fill those needs while also keeping in mind best players available.
