There have already been significant trades within the top eight picks. However, one more is likely and could directly impact the Bears’ chances of landing a particular player.

The 2018 NFL offseason has yet to disappoint us, folks. There have been plenty of moves made, players signed, surprise cuts and best of all — trades. The Chicago Bears have not been part of any trades just yet, but there have been a handful which could influence one of their next moves.

The Bears have some blatant needs they will need to address during the draft in April, and depending on what the teams ahead of them do, there could be some interesting prospects who fall into their lap at the eighth overall pick.

Looking at the roster as we speak, a couple of positions stand out which need to be addressed. Right off the bat, linebacker will be heavily drafted. There’s no way around it for Ryan Pace. He needs to add multiple players to that group.

Defensive line is a spot they will need to add depth to as well. Finding someone to line up opposite Akiem Hicks is going to be a top priority if they don’t believe either Roy Robertson-Harris or Jonathan Bullard are the answer.

Last but not least, the Bears need a starter on the offensive line. Whether that’s at guard or center is the real question, since Cody Whitehair can play either spot.

With that said, let’s take a look at how the top of the first round could shake out and if it will be in favor of Pace and the Bears.
