One thing has been obvious since Allen Robinson signed with the Chicago Bears, and that’s his excitement to work with his new quarterback.

Mitchell Trubisky has been the center of attention within the Chicago Bears organization since the 2017 season came to a close. This is for good reason, obviously, as Ryan Pace is convinced he has found his franchise quarterback.

The biggest addition Pace has given Trubisky this spring is, of course, is former Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Allen Robinson. Along with Trey Burton, Taylor Gabriel and even a kicker of Cody Parkey‘s talent, Robinson comes with a crop of very solid free agent additions.

More from Chicago Bears

It appeared as though Robinson had always wanted to be in Chicago, according to much of his social media activity over the last several weeks. Robinson was destined for Chicago, and it’s no surprise that he has been as excited as he’s been since signing.

What is he most excited about, though? I’d venture to guess he is most looking forward to working with Trubisky. At least, once again, if his social media has anything to say about it.

Robinson has been active on Twitter in showing just how pleased he is to be a Bear, and recently retweeted a piece done by NFL.com’s Kevin Patra, interviewing Trubisky about how this offseason has gone thus far.

Robinson already looks as though he is proud of his quarterback and ready to get down to business.

In the piece, Trubisky goes in depth about how happy he’s been with what Pace has been able to do not only with the free agent additions but the coaching staff revamp as well.

"“It’s very exciting, and I can’t be more thankful for the situation I ended up in, especially with Ryan Pace running the show and really believing in me, this organization and the other guys we have,” Trubisky said. “We did really well in free agency. We have to get a couple of other guys back healthy. But I just feel like we’re in a perfect situation to really emerge and have a great year this year.”"

A couple days prior, the NFL’s official twitter posted a short clip about Robinson and how he will help his young quarterback. Once again, Robinson showed his loyalty to his new club and enlightened us with his one simple goal: win.

If you look back at Robinson’s opening presser with the Bears, you can tell he is more than delighted to be a Bear. What excites me most, as a fan, is just how anxious he is to get to work with Trubisky.

It has been a while since the Bears have had a quarterback who was as infectious to be around as their first round pick in 2017. Trubisky is an outgoing, passionate and competitive player who will command his huddle without hesitation. Now, he gets one of the more talented weapons Chicago has ever seen in a Bears jersey — Robinson and Trubisky are about to take this team to a different level.
