Eric Kush‘s most valuable position is as a backup interior lineman at either guard position and center. Jordan Morgan, a fifth-round pick from last year, might also be best suited as a backup interior lineman.
There’s a glaring hole at right guard. New offensive line coach Harry Hiestand likely to make a great case for a player that played for him in Quenton Nelson. At pick number eight, Ryan Pace could get a gift in the form of arguably a top-five prospect.
Quenton Nelson could step right in and have an effect on the offense the moment he steps on the field. He’s a violent run blocker that can drive opposing defensive linemen off the line of scrimmage, and create a hole for his running back to run through. Nelson is also not a liability in pass blocking.
