2. Allen Robinson will catch 10 touchdown passes

This one, in particular, could be a reach, and it’s certainly bolder than just suggesting that Robinson will top 1,000 yards. I mean, if I think Trubisky is going to throw anywhere nears 4,000 yards, then Robinson more than likely is topping a grand.

I’m sure the Chicago Bears will spread the wealth, but Robinson’s a No. 1 wide receiver that demands top receiver targets when healthy. That’s just how it goes.

The touchdown numbers, though, could truly make this season special for this promising quarterback-receiver tandem.

As you likely know already, Robinson scored 14 times in his breakout 2015 campaign and added another six the next year as Blake Bortles regressed.

That’s an average of 10 over his last two healthy seasons, so…why not?

Okay, we don’t want to oversimplify it that much, but everything about Robinson’s skill set tells us that he can easily score 10 touchdowns a year with a good quarterback.

He has the size to out-position corners, the explosion to out-jump them, enough speed to outrun them on occasion and the route-running skill to beat them anywhere on the field.

All Trubisky has to do is consistently hit Robinson in the hands, and they’re going to become friends really fast and have a ton of success together.

If he can prove that he’s back to his old self this year as he hopes, let’s set that bar for him. You know he’ll do it anyway.
