Robinson beats two Carolina Panthers defenders for a diving grab.

If you are like me, you get upset when people give you grief for watching preseason football.

“Preseason football doesn’t matter,” they always say.

Well, whatever you do, make sure you don’t tell Robinson.

His season may have been cut short in week one of the regular season in 2017, but on August 24th he made one of the more impressive catches in his career during a preseason battle with the Carolina Panthers.

They say preseason football gives you great experience to practice what’s called situational football. It just so happened that the situation here was a long 3rd-and-15 for Henne and the Jaguars.

Robinson, lined up on the outside, stutter stepped and beat his man down the left sideline. Henne catapulted a throw where only number 15 could end up with it. Robinson dove past two defenders and hauled it in.

A 37-yard gain never looked so easy. It is remarkable that Robinson has made these kinds of plays time and time again, and somehow makes it look easier than most. This is what we have to look forward to, Bears fans.

The Jaguars ended up losing the game by a score of 24-23, but let’s be honest, preseason football doesn’t matter.
