Allen Robinson comes to the Chicago Bears with a pedigree of some dazzling catches over his young career.

It is pretty remarkable that one could put together a lengthy highlight reel from a 24-year-old wide receiver’s short career, but that’s exactly what can be done with new Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson.

Coming to the Bears from the Jacksonville Jaguars, Robinson agreed to a 3-year contract worth $42 million a few days ago. As the top wide receiver name in all of free agency this year, Ryan Pace seemingly struck gold by luring in the former Penn State product.

Over his career, Robinson has made some eye-popping grabs. What some fail to recognize, though, is that one common denominator throughout his time in the game, Robinson has never played with a great quarterback.

Even back at Penn State, Robinson caught passes from Matt McGloin and Christian Hackenberg. With the Jaguars, he reeled in tosses from both Blake Bortles and Chad Henne at times. Now, in Chicago, he gets to play with the most promising quarterback of his career in Mitchell Trubisky.

It will be fun for now to fantasize about what type of magic they will create together on the field come September. Until then, in no particular order, enjoy five of Robinson’s most impressive catches to date.
