Chicago Bears: Josh Bellamy’s Instagram revealing anger over free agency signings?
By Ryan Heckman
After the Chicago Bears added a lot of talent offensively on Tuesday, one of their own may feel a little left out.
The Chicago Bears were never going to go into the 2018 season with Josh Bellamy as one of their starting wide receivers. That would be one of the most hilarious ideas ever tossed around at Halas Hall if it were to ever surface.
Apparently, though, Bellamy may have been akin to the idea of having a larger role in the offense after the Bears tendered him this week.
Ryan Pace went out and signed Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel and Trey Burton to add to Mitchell Trubisky’s weaponry on Tuesday. While fans are excited to see what the new guys can do, it looks like Bellamy might not be too happy with the moves.

Let’s be real, here, Mr. Bellamy. You were never going to see the field more than special teams in 2018 anyway. We all remember what happens when you get offensive snaps.
I think the video speaks for itself. Bellamy has been downright awful as a receiver in Chicago. Yet, somehow, the Bears continue to give him another year each offseason. If his Instagram post gets into the right hands at Halas Hall, he may have some explaining to do.
With Cameron Meredith coming back, it looks like he will start opposite of Robinson right now. Gabriel will likely be their number three while Kevin White competes to find a spot in the group as well. If White stays healthy, he will most definitely find playing time. We already know Robinson, Meredith and Gabriel are locks to play, so where does that leave Bellamy?

As a fan, I can only hope that Bellamy’s days in Chicago are numbered. It would make this situation a whole lot easier if a team decided to make Bellamy an offer and the Bears refused to match.
We can all dream, right?
