2. Robinson is dynamic
Not only is Allen Robinson a fantastic route runner, but he is also extremely versatile.
Matt Nagy will be able to employ Robinson in a number of different formations from a number of different positions. He can line up inside or outside. He has the skills to take an inside slant and break it for a big play, or take the top off a defense on a simple “go-route.”
Robinson can also break free by running an excellent “slant and go” like he does in the clip below.
For those who think Allen Robinson is all about size and can't run routes, I give you Exhibit A. #Bears pic.twitter.com/vlG28tJl3E

This is a huge advantage. As we all know, many cornerbacks in the NFL have an Achilles heel. Namely, they are much better and prefer to play on one side of the field. With Robinson’s ability to move around so effectively, it should create a number of advantages and mismatches.

In Kansas City, Coach Matt Nagy demonstrated that he likes to mix it up on offense. He often used unique formations and lined players up in unconventional spots to create mismatches. Robinson’s versatility will allow Nagy to get creative. I believe this was also appealing to Robinson as the Bears courted him. Wide receivers want to play in a system that is going to put them in a position to succeed. Nagy’s system will do just that.
