5. WR Josh Bellamy

It is hard to imagine Pace looking at the tape after the 2016 season and thinking, “You know what, I like this guy. Let’s bring him back for another year.”

Josh Bellamy has been nothing more than a wasted roster spot in Chicago. His best moments have come on special teams, and even those moments are rarities.

Bellamy has somehow found himself on the roster over and over again, last year coming back on a one-year contract. I’m not sure what Pace sees in him, but I know what I see.

I see a guy who continually drops passes, yet still sees the field over other receivers clearly more skilled than he is. Bellamy drives me up a wall as a fan, and I am hoping his days in Chicago are done after 2017.

Bellamy doesn’t just drop any passes, folks. He drops the critical ones. It always seems like it’s late in the game, with the game on the line, when he comes in clutch with a whiff.

If you are ever bored, go to your Twitter account and search “Josh Bellamy drop.” I promise, you will not be disappointed — well, actually you probably will. But, it will wear off and eventually you will just laugh.
