The Cleveland Browns might not be done making moves, and the Chicago Bears make sense as one of their next trade partners.

The Browns are managing their team how I like to manage my fantasy football team — and that is, in a word, awesome. There is no reason to believe they are done executing trades at this point, and it is worth noting that the Chicago Bears could be in line for a deal.

With Jarvis Landry in Cleveland, now, and Josh Gordon returning to the team looking like his old self, it would make sense for the Browns to see if they could get any value for now-third option Corey Coleman.

I did some digging, and remembered that Ryan Pace met with Coleman during a private pre-draft visit in 2016. Coleman was one of the unique talents that Pace wanted to have one-on-one time with prior to the big day. Saturday, Aaron Leming took it a step further and noted that the Bears could even be a team to watch if Coleman is indeed on the block.

Leming’s tweet was in conjunction with Daryl Ruiter’s take on the matter. Ruiter, from Cleveland’s 923 The Fan, said that it wouldn’t be surprising to see Coleman’s name in trade talks in the coming days.

Last year, prior to the season finale against the Browns, Pace told WBBM 780 AM his thoughts on the winless team’s offense. Specifically, he was asked about DeShone Kizer. Pace said that Kizer was dangerous with the type of skill players he has at his disposal, noting Gordon first and secondly, Coleman.

In only his third season, Coleman has yet to totally break out. Injuries have been an issue, which is definitely a red flag. However, there is no denying what he can do at his best.

Separation, hands and beautiful footwork — I could get behind trading for a guy like that. Not to mention, he’s a big body with obvious strength.

At just 23 years old, Coleman is absolutely worth taking a shot on if the price was right for Pace and the Bears. I would love to see Trubisky get a chance to throw to a big-bodied receiver with great speed and strength. If he were to stay healthy, I could visualize a breakout year from Coleman under head coach Matt Nagy’s offense.
