Chicago Bears: Intriguing Round 2 options in 2018 NFL Draft (Pt. 2)
DJ Moore

Hands: 9 5/8 inches
While the Chicago Bears will certainly aim to address the receiver position first (and perhaps mainly) through free agency/trades, Matt Nagy will undoubtedly want some more home run-hitting talent for this new-look offense.
Moore, last year’s Big Ten Receiver of the Year, fits that bill big time.
Some might look at some of his measurables and think that Pace won’t be overly interested because he doesn’t have crazy arm length and hand size.
Eh…I think Pace likes really fast, explosive athletes independent of the other stuff. And Moore delivers.
Moore ran in the low 4.4s in the 40 this weekend and jumped off the screen in both vertical and broad drills at 210 pounds. On top of that, he showed that he has some short-area quickness and suddenness, ranking near the top of the 20 and 60-yard shuttles.
And all those attributes showed themselves often on the field last year after he made the catch and when returning kicks.
Talk about your perfect additions to Nagy’s offense. I’d love to see him on the field with fellow open-field nightmare Tarik Cohen and watch defensive coordinators sweat every time one of them touches the football.
