Height: 6-foot-3

Weight: 199 pounds

Arm length: 32 3/8 inches

Hands: 9 1/4 inches

I had wanted to put Deon Cain here because I think he’s probably a better player at the moment than Chark is.

But when you see the measurables that Chark put up at a NFL Combine and his raw, home run-hitting ability, doesn’t that suggest that he’d make Pace’s sensors start going bonkers?

First, the speed obviously jumps off the screen as Chark ran the fastest 40 time of any player at the Combine thus far at 4.34 seconds.

And if he puts more weight on his 6-foot-3 frame without losing that speed, he could be truly monstrous.

Besides that, he can also jump out of the jump (40-inch vertical, 129-inch broad jump), hinting at some special explosiveness.

The key will be honing that into something more dominating from the wide receiver position.

The tape shows a guy who gets by mostly on his athletic ability and ridiculous speed without necessarily being all-in on the finer points of route running. He’ll need to buy into whatever his receiver’s coaches are telling him quickly to see the field early in 2018.

Next: Robinson to be top Bears FA target?

But again, you can teach that stuff as long as a guy is willing to learn. And if Chark takes his route-running seriously and hits an NFL weight room, he has beastly potential.

“Potential”…I think Ryan Pace’s ears just perked up.
