Chicago Bears: Ranking the top 10 current players on roster

The Chicago Bears are considered to be in rebuilding mode. If that’s the case, they have one heck of a foundation to build on.

While everyone is getting excited for the upcoming start of the 2018 NFL free agency period, all the talk is about who might be a member of the Chicago Bears in the near future. Fans are talking nonstop about who they’d like to see in a Bears uniform, how much the team should spend and the best fits for the roster.

The second-most important topic on everyone’s mind is without a doubt the 2018 NFL Draft. The Bears hold the eighth overall pick this year and are bound to snag a promising player. Who will it be? That is the question.

While all the hype seems to be around guys who aren’t even dressed in navy and orange just yet, people seem to have forgotten the guys who are currently calling Halas Hall their home. Of course, all of the fun is trying to anticipate Ryan Pace’s next move — I get it. But, let’s take a step back and look at the current roster as it is.

I have seen plenty of talk about how the Bears will hardly have anyone signed after all of the roster cuts are through. However, the guys who are still set to suit up at Soldier Field in 2018 are a pretty solid group.

Chicago is rebuilding — at least, that’s what most folks will tell you. Don’t tell Jordan Howard, though.

For a rebuilding team, the Bears have a lot of talent in place. It’s no wonder Howard guaranteed his squad will make the playoffs next season. He sees the potential — and so should you.
