Weight: 190

One of the bigger guys on this list is Isaiah Oliver out of Colorado. He has that combination of size, strength and speed that defensive coordinators covet most in a cornerback.

Scouts love the way Oliver plays the game. Words like tenacious, relentless and overwhelming are used to describe the nature in which he attacks receivers.

Oliver is a guy who plays at 100 percent effort all the time, which can be a positive and a negative. On the positive side, he has the speed to keep up with receivers downfield. The pro game has gotten much faster over just the last decade, and slower corners find themselves having a hard time to keep up. Oliver isn’t one of those guys.

Unfortunately, his all or nothing mentality sometimes gets him in trouble. He has been seen to be beat on comeback routes many times and struggles in bump and run. The right coaching can definitely help him here.

What I love about Oliver is the crazy long arms he possesses. A lot like Joshua Jackson out of Iowa, Oliver has those long claws that are great at breaking up passes.

At times, he has struggled to play off-man, but again I believe that could change with the right help. Being a true two sport athlete, also starring in track and field, Oliver has been honing all kinds of physical skills for years.

Oliver projects to be a second or third round talent in a deep cornerback draft, so he’s also one to watch for on day two.
