In case you missed last night’s Chicago Bulls game, SportsCenter gives you the CliffsNotes in one short clip. Hint: it was bad, and it was pretty funny, too.

Unfortunately, I was commuting all night last night so I didn’t get a chance to watch the unbelievable tank performance by the Chicago Bulls last night against the Brooklyn Nets.

I mean, you have to put together a truly horrific effort to lose to that team 104-87.

But these Bulls, sitting Zach LaVine for a night and featuring Cristian Felicio (30 minutes) and Cameron Payne (18 minutes) for extended time, were up to the challenge.

And though Chuck Swirsky and Bill Wennington summed things up for me well enough, SportsCenter told me just about everything I needed to know about this game in one fell clip.

Of course, the Nets also shared in the badness for this particular clip, but wow.

You know, Denzel Valentine has actually made some strides this year, so I won’t hate him for a few misses. But that was…really bad.

For those of you who like Famous Los’ basketball commentary, don’t worry: he noticed too:

More from Da Windy City

On one hand, I suppose the Chicago Bulls can be satisfied with the continued development and tenacity of Kris Dunn (23 points, three assists, four rebounds, two blocks and steals) and Lauri Markkanen (19 points) and the inspiring hustle of David Nwaba.

But they also didn’t stop Allen Crabbe (21 points) and Jarrett Allen, who had like 20 dunks, so…good job! That’s a win-win right there.

That, and those Felicio and Payne minutes I referenced earlier? Just as planned. Felicio went 2-of-3 from the floor (four points) in 30 minutes in Robin Lopez‘s absence. And Payne went 1-for-10 from the field for two points, including 0-of-4 from 3-point range.

I still can’t imagine why he continues to shoot them, but hey: we’ll take that.

The Bulls will look to roll out the tanks again tonight when they face the Charlotte Hornets at 6 p.m. CT. Watch at your own peril.

It’s a race to the bottom for the last 22 games of this season, and some of this could get pretty ugly.
