Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson is one of the top wide receivers available on the free agent market. Did the free-agent wide receiver hint at a potential move to Chicago with an instagram post?

Free agency doesn’t officially begin until March 14th, but it seems that the rumors are starting a bit early. That could bode well for the Chicago Bears.

Free-agent wide receiver Allen Robinson, who is one of the top receivers on the market, might’ve hinted at a potential move with an instagram post on Tuesday.

As pictured above, Robinson posted a picture to his instagram earlier on Tuesday. The picture depicts Robinson in a Chicago Cubs jersey, with the caption “Believe me when I say I’m doin just fine!”.

Wow.

For a Chicago Bears team that had a huge hole at wide receiver for all of last season, this is huge.

Despite missing all of last season after a torn ACL in week one, Robinson is undoubtedly one of the top offensive players available this coming spring.

In 2016, Robinson caught 73 passes for 883 yards and 6 touchdowns. However Robinson’s big season was in 2015, when he caught 80 passes for 1400 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are viewed as a competitor to sign Robinson, but may not be as well suited anymore after Blake Bortles‘ recent extension.

Given the fact that he missed all of 2017, Robinson’s market value is unknown. A multi-year deal is almost definite at this point, but the annual value and signing bonus is a complete toss-up.

Considering the Chicago Bear’s flexible cap room, no price is too high, especially for someone as talented as Allen Robinson. You can certainly consider him one of, if not the top free-agent target on offense for the Chicago Bears next month.

Could the instagram post be completely blown out of context? Maybe. But given the timing, especially since Robinson is a free-agent and has been the subject of many rumors thus far, Allen Robinson certainly wasn’t just posting a picture of himself in a Cubs jersey because he thought it looked nice.

Allen Robinson very much could be telling us what we’ll find out in a matter of weeks. The Chicago Bears are his top choice, and could be his new team by the time training camp starts.
