Chicago Bears: 5 offensive line targets in 2018 NFL Draft
Check out these five offensive line prospects that the Chicago Bears could target in the 2018 NFL Draft, including the best one of them all.
Ladies and gentlemen, Chicago Bears fans of all ages, NFL Combine Week has arrived at last.
Prepare to feast your eyes on reports about bench presses, 40 times, heights, weights and hand sizes that may or may not ever matter in a player’s professional career.
And prepare to briefly be completely absorbed with football again (if you ever stopped), no matter what else is happening in the world of sports.
As Bears fans speculate as to who Ryan Pace will draft with the No. 8 overall pick and beyond, they must consider the multitude of needs the team currently has. And without a doubt, one of the bigger ones emerging of late has been the offensive line.

Even if the Bears hadn’t cut Josh Sitton, they still would’ve needed depth given Kyle Long‘s uncertain health, Bobby Massie being a possible cap casualty and just general need to prepare for injuries.
With Sitton gone, that need has intensified. Now, the Chicago Bears must find a starting guard. And though Massie wasn’t abjectly awful last year, they’ll probably look to upgrade over him too.
The first strike in all this will be in free agency, of course, which could lessen the need to invest a high pick at an offensive line position. That said, they’re going to pick at least one somewhere. And while only one is worthy of a top 10 pick, plenty of other options will be on the table in later rounds.
Let’s look at which offensive line prospects the Chicago Bears could target in April’s draft. And, of course, let’s just get the obvious one out of the way.
