Marqise Lee might be one of the most underrated receivers in all of football. When it comes to the Jacksonville Jaguars, their receiving corps was one of the most underrated in all of football last year, so it makes sense.

Lee, the fifth year pro, has had his fair share of time on the field over the last couple of years due to injuries to guys like Allen Robinson or Allen Hurns — and he’s made the most of it. Last year, he really started to come into his own and turn some heads.

Lee has decent size at exactly 6’0”, but most importantly he knows how to use that size. Watching him play, one of the first things you will notice is the fact that he knows how to use his body to get in position for the catch.

The downside with Lee recently has been with drops. He was tied for the sixth-most in the NFL in 2017 with eight. This is a bit funny, actually, when you consider he is so good at getting in position to make the grab.

In any event, Lee has posted 119 catches for 1,553 yards over his last two seasons, and that’s not even as the true number one guy. With Robinson and Hurns hurt off and on, Lee has been thrown in there with a lot of other guys as well. Jacksonville has mixed it up, especially recently with the emergence of Dede Westbrook and Keelan Cole.

If Robinson gets the tag from Jacksonville, expect Lee to enter free agency. If this comes to fruition, I wouldn’t mind Chicago bringing him in on an average deal — maybe even the infamous “prove it” deal Pace loves so much.
