2. Eric Kush

Although he is perhaps best known for rocking stylish tank-tops, Eric Kush represents a legitimate option at OG for the Bears.  In fact, prior to tearing his hamstring, Kush was expected to play a prominent role on the offensive line.

The Chicago Bears claimed Kush off of waivers from the St. Louis Rams prior to the 2016 season.  Initially, he was slated to provide much-needed depth on the offensive line.  However, leading up to the start of the season he was working with the starting unit, filling in for the injured Kyle Long.  That suggests the Bears were confident enough going into the season with Kush as their starting LG.  It also means they had more faith in Kush than former third-round pick Hroniss Grasu.

Furthermore, Kush represents a relatively cheap option with only a $1.4 million cap hit in 2018.  The Bears may decide to go with Kush, who is a serviceable option, and spend their free agent money elsewhere on other needs.

Kush is also the internal option with the most NFL experience.  From that perspective, he would have the edge over Morgan.  If Morgan does not make significant strides this offseason, and the Bears roll with what they have on the roster, it is likely Kush will be their guy.
