1. Jordan dominates 1988 All-Star Weekend in Chicago

You knew as soon as everyone set up shop in Chicago for the 1988 All-Star Weekend festivities that Michael Jordan was going to remind you whose house it was.

Basically, there was nothing Jordan didn’t win that weekend.

First, he went down to the wire to defend his slam dunk crown against the Human Highlight Reel himself, Dominique Wilkins. And needing a 49 on his last dunk to win the contest, Jordan walked back to the other end of the court. Everyone knew what was coming…

Clear the runway: Air Jordan is taking off.

A little home-cooking there, perhaps, but Jordan came away with the 50 for the win.

Then, he proceeded to utterly annihilate everyone at the All-Star Game the next day.

40 points, eight rebounds, three assists, four steals, four blocks in 29 minutes. At that point, Jordan was one of the most unfairly dominant players in basketball history, and he proved it to the best players in the league.

And to top it all off, his insanely popular Nike commercial with Spike Lee playing Mars Blackmon dropped that weekend.

Just when you thought Jordan couldn’t possibly have it all.

As said before, as the greatest player arguably in NBA history, this list was going to feature a ton of Michael Jordan. Not that any of you are complaining. And thanks to him and a few others, the Chicago Bulls have as illustrious All-Star Weekend history as you’ll find.
