Nothing went well for the Bulls on Saturday night, as the team got demolished by the Pacers 125-86.

This is what fans love to see. In all seriousness, this loss may seem bad for the fans, but for a team that was supposed to be tanking all is fair.

Nothing went well for the Bulls tonight. From the awful three-point shooting, to the team rebounding, to the high amount of turnovers. Simply put, this is what fans expected from Chicago to begin the season.

More from Da Windy City

After going 10-5 in the month of December, the Bulls appear to be back to their losing ways. As they now have lost four of their last five games, with only a win over the just as bad Mavericks in the middle.

Stopping the Pacers was not going to happen tonight, even if the team had an actual All-Star. They proved that they are clearly the better team.

Victor Oladipo, who has been on a tear this season continued his onslaught against Chicago with 23 points on 9-11 shooting. He also chipped in six rebounds and nine assists, with 5 steals as well.

Not only did Oladipo feast on Chicago’s barely there defense, the rest of the team did as well. Rookie TJ Leaf threw in 15 points, second year forward Domantas Sabonis also finished with a 20 point game for the third time this season.

On the Bulls end, nothing went well. Starting opposite Oladipo as the Bulls starting shooting guard was Justin Holiday, who finished the game with a dreadful shooting line. He would only make two out of his 14 shots, including 1-9 from three-point land.

Kris Dunn, who has been fantastic as of late did not appear to have his usual fire and energy, only finishing with 8 points with 4 rebounds and 8 assists. Prized rookie Lauri Markkanen finished with 13 points on 4-9 shooting.

Next up for the Bulls will be the Rockets back home in Chicago, maybe they will put up a better effort on Monday. At least we can hope so.
