Quarterback: Mitchell Trubisky

As the other part of the 2017 draft day deal between the Bears and the 49ers, Mitchell Trubisky will be lining up under center for the Bears. After showing serious promise during the preseason, the Bears made a puzzling move to start Mike Glennon, even though they had just drafted Mitch with the 2nd overall pick. After 4 games, enough was enough, the Bears, and coach John Fox made the decision to go to Mitchell Trubisky.

Through 7 games, the play has not been up to par with what the Bears had to have hoped would come from Trubisky. Throwing for 1,135 yards with 4 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, on a 52% completion rate, the way that he is playing has to be making Bears fans antsy. The early play of Deshaun Watson was making fans nervous, had the Bears missed once again on a QB prospect? The tale is still out on whether Mitchell Trubisky will become a bust, or a legitimate All-Pro quarterback in the NFL. If I had to make an educated guess, he would fall somewhere in the middle of that spectrum.

Against the 49ers, receivers should be wide open, at least one would think. Even though the Bears have one of the worst receiving cores in the NFL, the 49ers have one of the leagues worst defenses. Currently allowing 372 yards per game, Mitchell Trubisky should have a field day.

Stat Line Prediction: 278 Total yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception.
