2015 Free Agent Class

Sam Acho, Alan Ball, Vladimir Ducasse, Mason Foster, Thomas Gafford, Jarvis Jenkins, Ray McDonald, Sherrick McManis, Pernell McPhee, Will Montgomery, Antrel Rolle, Dante Rosario, Jacquizz Rodgers, Mitch Unrein, Chris Prosinski, Rob Housler, Tracy Porter, Eddie Royal and Jimmy Clausen made up the 2015 free-agent class.

Obviously, the big signing here was McPhee. He was 26, at the time, and had a lot to offer to a team transforming to a 3-4 defense. His best season was his first season with the Chicago Bears. Injuries have begun to take some of his pass-rushing ability from him, but the good news is that he can be cut next year with only $1 million in dead cap.

The only other signings here that were for multiple seasons were with Rolle and Royal. The Rolle signing was only guaranteed for the first season, while the Royal deal was guaranteed through the first two seasons.

Royal was also hindered by injuries during his time in Chicago, so that turned out to be a bad signing.
