Chicago Bears vs. Lions: Preview, Game Time and More
Complete game details for the Week 11 match-up between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers.
As the Chicago Bears enter this game against the Detroit Lions, their record stands at 3-6. My post about “why the Chicago Bears will make the playoffs” looks pretty bad, at this point. Thanks, John Fox and Dowell Loggains.
Anyways, we are all fans and will continue to root for the Chicago Bears through thick and thin. There are still many reasons why we should look forward to this game. We should look forward to seeing the young talent on the team, especially Mitch Trubisky.
Trubisky is coming off of his best statistical game of the season, in which he threw for 297 yards and a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers. There are still many areas for Trubisky to improve, mainly in his pocket presence.
It will be interesting to see if Loggains and Fox call more passing plays on early downs. It will help open up running lanes for Jordan Howard, who is facing stacked boxes on first and second down.

On defense, the Chicago Bears are coming off one of their weakest performances of the season. Cornerback Kyle Fuller was victimized, but hopefully it was just a bump in the road of what has been a strong season for him.

Another surprise was the defense allowing 160 yards to a Packers team that lost their top two running backs in the game. The defense will face a big test against quarterback Matt Stafford, who has strong weapons like Marvin Jones Jr. and Golden Tate.

I understand that some fans want the team to lose, so that they will get a better draft pick. However, this is a divisional rival, and I want to win. The odds are against the Chicago Bears, and that’s exactly why they will beat the Lions.
