Complete game details for the Week 8 match-up between the Chicago Bears and the New Orleans Saints.

It’s Packer week! So, while it is always a huge game, this one feels like even more of a must-win. Obviously, Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers is out with a broken collarbone, so that means that backup quarterback Brett Hundley will be making his third career start.

If Fox and the Bears want to get back into the division race, they need to beat the Packers. This feels like a crucial game for Fox, considering they have had two weeks to prepare for a bad Packers team. If he wants to return next year, he will need to coach his tail off on Sunday.

The defense will need to continue its dominant play, which includes being prepared for the read-option from Hundley. The unit will likely be without middle linebacker Danny Trevathan, who has a calf injury. Hopefully, he will be able to play against the Lions. For now, it will likely be up to Nick Kwiatkoski and Christian Jones to run the defense.

This is also a big week for the Chicago Bears’ offense. It looks like wide receiver Markus Wheaton will be back, while new addition Dontrelle Inman will be making his debut as a Bear. While it does not fix the wide receiver group, it does give quarterback Mitch Trubisky more to work with. More importantly, hopefully it gets Tanner Gentry off of the field. It has really surprised me how bad Gentry has been with his route running and his inability to get open.

Next: Thank you for everything you’ve done with the Chicago Bears, Zach Miller

We will soon find out what transpires on the field on Sunday against the Packers. Hopefully, the team plays well in all three phases, which will propel the the Chicago Bears to a 4-5 record.
