Notre Dame vs Wake Forest: 3 players to watch
By Eric Brown
Wow. Who could have guessed that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish would be lead by the best running back in all of college football.
In just 8 games played on the season, Adams is averaging almost nine yards per carry. With his 77 yard touchdown last week, he leads all of FBS with 7 touchdowns of 60 yards or more. The closest to him is Stanford running back Bryce Love.

After a disappointing 2016 season, Brian Kelly made the change at basically every coordinator position. The most important change appears to have been the change of the offensive coordinator spot. With the new OC, Josh Adams is thriving, and appears headed towards a possible Heisman trophy win if he continues at his current pace for the rest of the season.
Wake Forest may have one of the best pass defenses in the country, but their run defense has been lacking all year long. As they have been giving up 184 rushing yards per game.
At 7-1 on the season, Notre Dame is reaching a point in the season where every win counts, and the score counts as well. If the Fighting Irish hope to be in the college football playoffs come January they must keep blowing out their opponents as well.
