What we learned from the Chicago Bears 17-3 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Daaaaaaaaa Bears!

Ladies and gentlemen, we will be experiencing Victory Monday for the second week in a row, and it feels so good. The Chicago Bears defeated the Carolina Panthers at home 17-3 for back-to-back wins. This is the first time the Chicago Bears have won back-to-back games since 2015, which is pretty remarkable.

The Bears’ offense may put you to sleep, but the defense is legit and is a thrill to watch. In the first quarter, Chicago Bears’ safety Eddie Jackson returned a fumble 75-yards for a touchdown, which gave the Bears a 7-0 lead.

In the second quarter, Jackson decided that he was not done yet, as he intercepted a Cam Newton pass and returned it 76 yards for a touchdown, giving the Bears a 14-0 lead. Both the Bears and the Panthers added field-goals to make the halftime score 17-3.

That ended up being all the points we got in the game. Head coach John Fox and offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains continued their ultra-conservative play calls, which resulted in a lot of punting. The Panthers had every opportunity to get back in the game, but the Chicago Bears’ defense would not let them.

Let’s see what we learned from the game.
