Mitchell Trubisky showed Chicago Bears fans his arm strength and mobility, but unfortunately, he showed off his poor decision-making as well. How will he perform in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens?

The Spread

Chicago Bears +6.5

Baltimore Ravens -6.5

The Chicago Bears are an underdog once again, but getting 6.5 points is a lot. It is tempting to take the Bears against the spread this week. This week the focus will be on Mitchell Trubisky’s second career start. With Trubisky starting the offense is playing with a new energy. Even with Trusbisky’s back-breaking interception in Week 5 against the Vikings, he was still fun to watch.

The Bears are 1-4 on the season, but 3-2 against the spread and that is what matters in the gambling world. To be fair, the Bears’ two losses against the spread have come on the road. They are traveling to Baltimore this week, so that is something to keep in mind. The Baltimore Ravens are also 3-2 this season and 3-2 against the spread as well, including a 1-1 record ATS at home.

Money Line

Chicago Bears +239

Baltimore Ravens -270

Apparently, Vegas loves the Baltimore Ravens this week, and I am not quite sure why. The Ravens have a bottom of the league offense and average defense. Numbers wise, the Bears also have a below average offense, but a lot of that is due to Mike Glennon starting four games.

The Bears have a legitimate chance to win this game if they control the run game. The Ravens defense allows 123 yards rushing a game. Look for Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen to expose that. A solid run game will open up quick, easy reads for Mitchell Trubisky. Granted, that assumes some of the Bears’ ragtag group of wide receivers can get open.

Over/Under

39 points, the lowest point total of Week 6.

If you are looking for a high scoring affair, I would probably avoid this Bears-Ravens game. The Bears have hit the Over once this season. Meanwhile, the Ravens have hit the Over twice this season, both times on the road. With the game being in Baltimore, hitting the Over does not seem likely. The Bears are going to run the ball as much as possible to protect Trubisky and control the clock. If you’d like to check out all the NFL betting odds, head on over to Sportsbookreview.com.
