Let’s take a look at some of the major takeaways from the Chicago Bears 25-0 loss to the Cleveland Browns in the fourth week of the preseason.

The Chicago Bears came away from their fourth preseason game with a 25-0 loss to the Cleveland Browns to finish the preseason with a 2-2 record. Coming off an impressive 19-7 win over the Tennessee Titans, this is certainly something the team did not want to see. However, it is the fourth preseason game and hardly any of the starters played.

The Chicago Bears were out-gained in total yards 380-159. The team also took 5 sacks. It was evident from the start of the game that the Bears just wanted to end the game as quickly as possible and get ready for the Atlanta Falcons on September 10th.

Mitch Trubisky finished the game with two completed passed out of five attempts for 10 yards. On the surface, you would think he played terribly, with a rating of 47.9. However, that really is not the case, and I will take you through the moments, in which he was in the game and how he should not be judged negatively for his performance tonight.

Now, let’s dive into some of the coaching decisions and how specific players and units performed with the major takeaways from the game.
