Bo Scarborough (Running Back), Alabama

One of the most hyped players coming into the season, Alabama running back Bo Scarborough is one of the top players in the country. Finally getting an opportunity to start after his first two seasons, Scarborough is a realistic Heisman pick and will look to join the long line of great Alabama running backs.

Alabama running backs have typically played the biggest role in the Tides offense in the past, shown in recent Heisman winners Derrick Henry and Mark Ingram. The talent is there, but the way that Scarborough adapts to being the top running back is the biggest key to his success.

In order to solidify himself as a top running back, Scarborough will have to make a huge impact against one of the best defenses in the country. With an opportunity to shine in a primetime game, Scarborough’s season could be defined by Saturday night. With a poor showing, Alabama could easily move on to other options, such as more runs for Hurts or more carries for freshman Najee Harris.

There’s no doubt that Jordan Howard is the Bears running back of the future. Especially with defense being the top priority in the draft, Scarborough is an unlikely pick. However, if he lives up to his potential and the opportunity is there, it would be tough for the Bears to pass up on a once in a lifetime talent.

Fans of the Chicago Bears should watch Scarborough and his amazing play making ability, as it might just so happen that the Bears make a move for him in the spring.
