Chicago Bears: Wide receiver trade targets after Cameron Meredith injury
1. Allen Hurns, Jacksonville Jaguars
Out of all of the wide receivers on this list, Allen Hurns of the Jacksonville Jaguars is my favorite target for the Chicago Bears. There has been a lot of talk around Jacksonville about the Jaguars looking to shop Hurns. If that is true, the Bears would be wise to make a call.
Hurns is another former undrafted free agent who has been impressive in the NFL. As a rookie in 2014, Hurns had 51 receptions for 677 yards and six touchdowns. He exploded in 2015 (64/1,031/10) before disappointing with 35 receptions for 477 yards and three touchdowns in an injury-plagued 2016 season.
Hurns is only 25 years old and is a smooth, athletic receiver on the outside. He uses his big body well to box-out opposing defenders and makes catches in traffic. He is a strong red zone option who shows the ability to make an impact in the short, intermediate and deep passing game.
Hurns was disappointing last season, but injuries played a major role in that. If he can stay healthy in 2017, he has a lot of upside at the wide receiver position.

If acquired Hurns would immediately become the number one receiver for the Chicago Bears. He would also have a chance to make a significant impact for the team beyond the 2017 season. If the Bears decide to make a deal for a wide receiver, their first call should be to Jacksonville about Allen Hurns.
