Bears vs. Cardinals: Preseason TV Schedule, Live Stream: How to Watch
How to watch the Chicago Bears second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals via a live online stream and more.
The Chicago Bears will travel west for their second preseason game, as they will take on the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday night. As you know, the Bears are in a rebuilding situation with a majority of their most interesting players being extremely young. That means the preseason games for Chicago are a bit more interesting than they will be for other teams.
Obviously, the star of the show on Saturday night will be rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky. Trubisky is coming off of an impressive performance against the Denver Broncos last week and will undoubtedly be looking to build on his success.
Trubisky showed great poise in the pocket, a strong throwing arm, pin point accuracy and the ability to make plays with his legs. He is an extremely talented quarterback who has a ton of natural upside going forward. With Trubisky under center, the Bears are going to be in great shape at the quarterback position for many years.
However, 2017 is unlikely to be among those years. The coaching staff and front office have been adamant that Mike Glennon is their starting quarterback this season. However, Glennon was absolutely atrocious in the first preseason game. If he continues to struggle and Trubisky continues to dominate, you have to imagine that a quarterback competition will be opened. This is the obvious number one story to watch on Saturday night.

What to watch besides the quarterbacks
However, it is not the only thing to watch. I am excited to see how rookies Tarik Cohen and Adam Shaheen look. In particular, I like Shaheen’s chances for a big game against the Cardinals. It will also be interesting to see if training camp darling and undrafted rookie Tanner Gentry can step up and have a big game.
Defensively, it is important to keep an eye on edge rusher Leonard Floyd, but I will specifically be watching the secondary. Most notably, how the Bears’ cornerbacks do early in the game against a talented group of Cardinals’ receivers. The second starting safety battle between Eddie Jackson and Adrian Amos will also be extremely important to watch.
Last but not least, I am going to have a close eye on slot receivers Kendall Wright and Victor Cruz. Both Wright and Cruz are talented veterans who have had successful NFL careers. However, they each came to Chicago on one-year “prove it” deals. Can either player step up and prove that they can still make an NFL impact?
