The Chicago Bears offense left a bit to be desired in their Preseason Week 1 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Sadly for Chicago Bears fans, the return from the annual long layoff from football didn’t go as planned (thanks, third/fourth-string defense).

Especially in the preseason, the final score of the game doesn’t really matter. After all, no one cares about being preseason champions. Also, one must also be careful not to judge players too harshly or getting too excited over an exhibition game. Teams aren’t running their true offensive and defensive packages, and the rust is still coming off as the speed of the game ramps up.
