Putting a letter grade to each move made by the Chicago Bulls this offseason.

The Chicago Bulls had an interesting offseason, to say the least. Led by Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo, the Bulls were able to sneak into the postseason last year, coming in as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. They were able to win the first two games of their first-round series against the Boston Celtics but lost four in a row to quickly be eliminated from the postseason.

Making the playoffs is always nice, but the Bulls were not anything close to championship contenders last season. Jimmy Butler willed that team to the playoffs but they did not have near enough around him to make a serious run.

Without any real assets other than Butler, the Bulls were simply stuck in mediocrity. Unless they would be able to somehow become a big time free agent destination, this was a franchise that was going nowhere fast.

To their credit, the Bulls front office saw this grim situation and started a complete rebuild this offseason. I strongly believe that pulling the plug on that team was the best route to go and the Bulls are in better shape going with a complete rebuild. However, can we trust them to pull this off?

It will be interesting to see how the Bulls can turn their fortunes around. One thing is for sure, the next couple of seasons are going to be pretty ugly.

Going forward with the rebuild was the right move to make. However, how did the Bulls do in the moves that they made this offseason? From the big trade to signing depth players to two-way contracts, we are going to grade each and every move made by the Chicago Bulls this offseason.
