The moment that the Chicago Bulls pulled the trigger on the Jimmy Butler trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves, their rebuild began. The Bulls did not get great value in that trade. It still really bugs me that they gave up the 16th overall pick along with Butler, but at least they now have direction.

The market for Butler was obviously soft and the Bulls front office did what they could. Now, the rebuild begins and it is going to be a couple of really ugly years for Chicago Bulls basketball.
