Can Howard repeat his incredible rookie season?

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, can Jordan Howard repeat his level of production from 2016? He finished last year with 252 rushes, 1313 yards rushing and added 29 receptions for 298 yards receiving. The offensive line will have had another offseason to build chemistry, which will help Howard as well.

Howard was one of the few bright spots on the team last year. It is going to be difficult put up similar numbers, but I think he has the ability. The Chicago Bears did not exactly have stellar quarterback play last year to keep the defense honest and Howard still put up great numbers. Plus, he does not have much competition pushing him for the starting role.

Ka’Deem Carey and Jeremy Langford has had their chances, but have not produced consistently. Tarik Cohen is exciting, but he is never going to be a full-time back.

Howard will face more stacked fronts this year, but if Glennon and Trubisky can do anything to keep the opposing defense on their toes, Howard should succeed.

I would like to see him get more involved in the passing game as well. Glennon and Trubisky will look to complete short and simple passes and if Howard can turn those into decent gains, it will give the quarterbacks a confidence boost.
