13. Alec Hansen, RHP

A right-handed pitcher who many considered the steal of the 2016 draft, there is a lot to like about Alec Hansen on the mound. Hansen was projected to be the number one overall pick but fell to the White Sox in the second round. Hansen had a bad junior year and was sent to the bullpen. Hansen has legit starter potential but with all the talented arms the Sox currently have in the system, it is unforeseen where he will end up.

12. Luis Alexander Basabe, OF

Luis Alexander Basabe is a quick outfielder who hasn’t exactly found his bat yet, currently playing in High-A ball. Basabe was sent over from Boston in the Chris Sale deal and is hitting .218 with 15 stolen bases on the year. The kid can run, that’s a fact. However, he needs to work on his hitting before there is any chance at a successful major league career.

11. Zack Burdi, RHP

Known by a lot of fans as the closer of the future, Zack Burdi can regularly hit 95-100 MPH with ease. As of now, it is safe to say that his future is in question, as Burdi will most likely be going through Tommy John surgery and miss the entire next season. Tommy John is not a death sentence for the youngster but it does delay his arrival with the Chicago White Sox.
