With Trubisky in the fold, defensive back becomes the Bears’ most obvious positional need. They struggled to stop opposing passing attacks last season and their awful play at cornerback was a major reason why. Do not be surprised if the Bears look to address their cornerback situation in the second round. Florida cornerback Quincy Wilson would be the perfect fit.

Wilson is a 6-foot-1, 211-pound cornerback who has great length for the position. He has the size that teams covet at the position and few in the game covet cornerback size more than Vic Fangio. The Bears need their outside cornerbacks to be big, long and tough. Wilson fits that bill perfectly.

A tough man-to-man defender who excels in press coverage, Wilson would immediately be among the favorites to start for the Chicago Bears at cornerback. His aggressive style of play and impressive ball skills would make him a great fit for the Bears on the outside. While he is not there yet, Wilson has legitimate shut-down cornerback ability.

Adding Wilson to the mix would not solve all of their secondary issues, but it would undoubtedly be a step in the right direction. If available, do not be surprised if Wilson is the Bears’ second round pick.
