With this 2017 NFL Draft trade value chart, find out who wins the draft day trades.

The 2017 NFL Draft is finally here! After months of preparation and speculation, we will finally find out where these guys will land. The 2017 NFL Draft class is an interesting bunch of players.

This is a talented and deep class that will supply a lot of talent to many NFL teams. Every team has a real opportunity to drastically improve their rosters from Thursday through Saturday.

With so much depth in this class, there could be some serious trade activity. Myles Garrett is the consensus top prospect in the class, but there are many players who could be considered to be next. There are not steep tiers of talent in the 2017 NFL Draft. It is more like a big collection of similarly talented players.

I personally think that could lead to a lot of trades. With similarly talented players being available later, expect many teams to look into trade down scenarios. Now, it takes two to tango and teams may be hesitant to trade up. That being said, anything is possible for the right deal.

When two teams make a trade involving draft picks, it can be difficult to judge who came out ahead. While it is not perfect, this 2017 NFL Draft Trade Value Chart is a great way to check value.

This is believed to be the same chart used by NFL general managers and front office personnel. Basically, each pick throughout the seven rounds is given a value. The first overall pick is obviously the most valuable, with the second pick coming next, etc.

To determine whether a trade makes sense or not, teams will add together the pick values being acquired by both sides. Whichever team has the higher point total is getting the better part of the trade according to the value chart.

It is not a perfect process, but it is an easy way to see how your team did in a trade on paper.
