Chicago Blackhawks vs Nashville Predators: Game 2 Predictions, Keys and Live Stream
The Chicago Blackhawks will play game two against Nashville on Saturday night at the United Center in Chicago.
After losing Game 1 on Thursday night, the Chicago Blackhawks look to even up their series against the Nashville Predators on Saturday in Game 2.
Chicago is going to need to play a complete game in all aspects as they hope to even up the series before heading to Nashville on Monday night.
Keys to the game
The Blackhawks run through their star players; Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Marian Hossa etc. For the Blackhawks to win, they need to see consistency from their top lines. I’m looking at the Kane, Panarin line to open up the scoring tonight and get the Hawks back in this series.
The Blackhawks have struggled all season long when giving their key players an extended rest, and that’s what happened in the first game. Tonight, I expect a completely different team to take the ice, a more focused and ready team.
Another key to tonight’s game is defense and goaltending. The Hawks defense needs to step up and get some blocked shots and help out Corey Crawford.
When the Blackhawks are clicking on all cylinders their defensemen are a huge part of the offense and that’s what needs to be seen tonight. Niklas Hjalmarsson needs to crash forward more often to help run the offense and create scoring chances along with the other defensemen. Duncan Keith is great at stepping up in big moments along with his linemate Brent Seabrook.
If the Hawks can get their defense involved in the offense right away, good things could happen tonight. Crawford will need to play lights out tonight as well. He can not give up any easy goals against this Nashville team.
