Complete Mock Draft Results

You cannot fix a 3-13 roster in one draft. However, with these 12 picks, I think we did a pretty good job of adding a ton of impact talent to both sides of the ball for the Chicago Bears.

The trade down at the beginning made it all work. I was perfectly happy sitting back and taking Jamal Adams at three, but I could not pass up the offer sent to me from the New Orleans Saints. Getting that haul of picks right off the bat allowed me to move up and down the board as I pleased. At the same time, I was able to land Malik Hooker to greatly improve the Bears’ secondary.

Hooker may not be the ideal choice at number three, but I don’t think many Bears fans would mind the pick too much. We were able to land him at 11 after adding a ton of draft assets for later. I couldn’t be happier with how that turned out.

With the trade up late in the first round, I was also able to land my favorite quarterback in this class. Watson at number 24 is a huge steal and I had no problem overpaying the Raiders (according to the draft pick value chart) to get my guy. Adding Engram, Godwin, Davenport and Dupre will also greatly help the progression of Watson both immediately and down the line.

With Hooker, McKinley and Douglas in particular, we were able to drastically improve the Bears’ pass defense as well. All in all, I really couldn’t be happier about this haul of players.

Would you be happy with a trade down like this right away? Is there something that I missed and should have done differently? I would love to hear everyone’s opinions on this seven-round mock draft for the Chicago Bears.  Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
